I love formulating my own masks, toners and scrubs to create organic skin care products by using natural ingredients. I use these organic skin care products during treatments at my day spa SkinRx LLC which is located in the Loxahatchee and Royal Palm Beach area in South Florida. My day spa provides a variety of skin care services such as facials, chemical peels, waxing, eyebrow tinting and shaping, and eyelash tinting. My clients love the organic skin care products that I use on them and often ask what they are made of and what the skin care effects are. Therefore, I thought I would share a few of their favorites in my first blog post!
Organic Cucumber Toner
The high water content in cucumbers hydrates and cools the skin while vitamin E helps counteract environmental effects. The natural oils in cucumbers softens the skin. This is suitable for all skin types.
Chamomile and Rosemary Tea Face Compress
Chamomile has anti-inflammatory properties and is soothing to the skin. It is particularly useful for irritated skin, rashes, allergic reactions, spots, acne and eczema. By reducing swelling and inflammation, chamomile calms the skin and supports healing. This herb promotes healthy skin for all skin types.
Rosemary has a bevy of rejuvenating benefits like moisturizing, supporting healthy collagen development and fighting off skin-damaging free radicals. This is suitable for all skin types.
Bentonite Clay and Turmeric Mask
Bentonite clay detoxifies the body, shrinks pores, tones and tightens the skin.
Turmeric diminish wrinkles, exfoliates, evens skin tones, and brightens the skin.
Coconut oil has lauric oil which is antimicrobial and disinfectant to the skin. All the benefits of Vitamin E are also found within this oil. The Vitamin E is nourishing aiding in healing and anti-aging.
