Aging is a life lesson.
I have been dancing since I was 4 years of age. Now at 79, despite back surgery and a long respiratory illness, I continue to dance and perform. I am also th founder of Wings to Fly Dance Company, a non-profit organization that works with both able and disabled dancers. I am also a massage and aquatic therapist specializing in myofascial release, Watsu, and cranial sacral work.
Even now, my daughters refer to me as the “energizer bunny’! I admit that aging is difficult, changes from limiting physical abilities to coping with changing physical appearance, like from smooth and from skin to wrinkled and sagging skin.
The “Golden Years” just mean we have to work harder, find solutions, stay posititve and make everyday as fulfilling as possible.”
